Showweb
Do you enjoy plays? If so, you would like the upcoming Showweb play, Sister Act, premiering on Thursdays, 15 September 2022, at the Chateau Neuf in Oslo. The main character, Deloris, will be played by Anna-Lisa Kumoji, an audience favorite who has featured in other plays like the Melodi Grand Prix, The Book Of Mormon, Star Wars, and Flashdance. Alongside her there is Kevin Mbugua (Star Wars), Ingeborg Walther (Star Wars), Tom Sterri, Hilde Lyran and many more.
Sister Act is a musical comedy based on the 1992 film Sister Act that will leave the audience jumping to their feet. The story follows a singer who witnesses a violent crime resulting in her being placed under a witness protection program. She finds herself in a convent among nuns as this is the last place her old cohorts would think of looking. Get to learn how Delores adjusts to this new lifestyle change, which is completely different from what she is used to.
Stockholm Culture Night 2022
The Stockholm Culture Night is an annual cultural event where the city rolls out its purple carpet for a ton of events. This event encompasses a fun-packed program of dance, literature, architecture, art, music, and theatre. This year’s event will be held on 23 April, and the organizers promise a bigger than ever occasion. Over 180 galleries, museums, libraries, theaters, and other cultural institutions will participate in the event.
There will be more than 100 events happening all over the city from 6 pm till midnight, all to entertain the locals and tourists. Even better, all this entertainment is free, with some events taking place in public spaces such as parks, squares, and bridges. King’s Day: Amsterdam’s Street Festival
Amsterdam King’s Day is one of the best events happening in the Netherlands to celebrate King Willem-Alexander’s Birthday. The event, happening on 27 April, features music, funfairs, and flea markets. The major celebrations often happen in major cities, but you can also find some events happening in small towns. If you peruse the previous events, you will notice that orange is the theme of the day. This is because the Dutch royal family is called the House of Orange. People wear orange-themed outfits on this day to signify national pride. In addition, people are allowed to sell items without a permit on the streets. This sees a lot of flea markets lined up selling all kinds of wares. Eat like a king on that day, try some Dutch recipes, and toast to the king’s birthday.
Sziget Festival
The Sziget Festival is a cultural event happening in Budapest, Hungary. It is considered one of the biggest music festivals in Europe, featuring more than 1000 performers with some of the biggest names like Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Calvin Harris, and Arctic Monkeys performing. The event happens in August, and this year it will be from the 10th to 15 August. The event occurs on Óbudai-Sziget Island, which is a dream location for art and musical event. You can buy a ticket for seven days, five days or just a day. It all depends on your preference. This is definitely a festival that any music lover should attend.
